Sheridan Cutting Trees were designed from the ground up to fit the cutter and the string of prospects to get the win. We try to make the most lightweight tree we can while also considering the longevity of the the saddle and security the rider feels while riding. Sheridan Trees are manufactured with wood and covered with rawhide to secure fit for the rider and make the trees strong for years.
Sheridan Cutting Trees start on with a 7 inch gullet, and quarter horse bars as this is a really good fit on horses of all ages and goals. Our cutting saddle bars follow the line of the horses back to ensure a great fit from front to back. From the string of prospects, to the AQHA champion and many in-between, Sheridan Cutting Trees fit horses of all shapes and sizes.
