Sheridan ranch saddle trees were designed from the ground up to fit the full string of ranch horses ready to work the ranch. We make the strongest tree available to handle to tough climates and conditions when working cattle with comfort of the rider in mind as well. Sheridan trees are manufactured with wood and covered with rawhide to make the trees strong for years. We then take into consideration the rider and have crafted a deep seat to hold you in just in case things get western. Upon starting a saddle for you we ensure to carve out a great ground seat to hold you in saddle for comfort for the long road ahead.

Sheridan ranch saddle trees start on with a 7 inch gullet, and quarter horse bars as this is a really good fit on horses of all ages and goals. Meet The Crew...

TRIGGER

Trigger is Sheridan's main saddle model throughout the website. You have probably seen him throughout the site if you have looked at our saddles. He is a beautiful Palomino who changes colors based on how he feels and the seasons throughout the year.

Trigger is a professional team roping horse that was first started on a ranch in his young life and now competes both heading and heeling throughout the Southwest. As for his build, he is 18 years old and stands at 15 hands tall and easy to get on. He has a nice back shape, similar to horses of this caliber. 

As with other horses with the JB Brand, Trigger has an impressive list of names on his AQHA bloodlines. He gets his build from his dads side with breeding that includs KING, Hollywood Gold, Doc Bar and Poco Bueno on his pedigree and bloodline papers which gives him that wide foundation bred quarterhorse  look. With a bloodline like this, you know he is a high performer and has the broad body type to match it.

Blue Moon Saloon

Blue Moon Saloon which we call him Suge, is one of the sweetest and friendliest horses you have met. He knows that everyone who walks up to his pen is his best friend. Blue Moon Saloon, born in 2017, started his career on the racetrack, worked on a ranch to learn some basic skills, and now in training to be a team roping and barrel racing horse.

Blue Moon Saloon has an impressive pedigree for anyone looking to start a horse team roping or barrel racing. His impressive breeding is known for speed from his sire (dad), First Moonflash. First Moonflash is a New Mexico Bred All American winner, track record setter as well as Grade 1 winner as well as many of his offspring are Grade 1 winners on the racetrack. With his dad's potential for speed, First Moonflash is already making waves in the barrel racing industry for his speed. First Moonflash has sired a line of barrel racing performers that are astounding with many horses with his breeding doing well in THE AMERICAN, NFR QUALIFIERS as well as many other large named barrel races ( https://doublellfarms.com/first-moonflash )

Mr. Pibb aka Ima Chestnut Dude

Mr. Pibb is known here as our calm, spirt animal. He is always at the gate ready for you to come and give him a treat. When he is not in his corral eating or his afternoon nap, he is enjoying a long trail ride or teaching people how to ride. With his pleasant demeanor and easy going personality, he has been a great trail riding horse from teaching kids to ride of all ages to taking a few cancer patients to enjoy a ride and the sunset.

Don't let his winter coat fool you, Mr Pibb was also a champion in his day. He is 22 years old now and 15 hand tall but has won the #10 championship at the NTR FINALS in Wickenburg, AZ in 2018, and many other smaller championships heeling. His pedigree is also know in the AQHA halter class going back to his grandfather named Impressive. Impressive won the 1974 AQHA halter class as well as siring 30 offspring winning the same title. He is a bred to be a wide body high caliber trail riding horse, that is easy on the eyes.

Boogey from Jud Little Ranch

Boogey is a young horse ready to please. He is currently getting ready for NBHA, the ALL IN, and World Series Ropings. Boogey aka Feelin tha Speed is a large body 16 hand quarter horse gelding from JUD LITTLE RANCH. Jud Little Ranch was known for the expertise in the barrel horses and high sellers for prospects. Since 1976 they have sired more timed event horses to the National Finals Rodeo including barrel racing, team roping, steer wrestling, calf roping and breakaway etc. (https://judlittleranch.com).

Boogey's bloodline includes Dash for Cash and Special Effort where he is ready for fast times. He is 5 years old and bred to be a top performer in the timed event side of the arena.
